I am so happy with this block and its versatility! Sometimes when I am working on new designs and creating patterns, something just clicks and I have a moment where I can visualize exactly what I want to design. This was one of those moments and honestly I am so excited about putting this pattern out into the world. I do believe this is going to be one of my “go to” patterns for a long time coming. The block is interesting and unique but simple enough to make by a beginning quilter. Believe it or not there are only a few points to match in the center of the block and the rest is simple SEW & FLIP! The pattern gives you info on three different variations: the large block in your favorite fat quarters, the slightly smaller block made entirely out of a DESSERT ROLL as well as a two color version that we have made up in red but so many other colors would look great too. In fact I am kind of visualizing it in pretty much every single one of our Fig Tree EYELET BASIC fabrics.
